IPA is pleased to announce a significant upgrade in its online registry. Thank you for your patience while IPA is implementing this exciting new reform. Set out below are details of the launch of the new registry.
New entities. The new system is fully functional for the creation of new business entities. You can submit an application to form a company, register a business name or file a notice of intent to form an association online today. You may also still submit paper filings to create these new entities.
Existing entities and data migration. The data migration from the old legacy system for companies and business names is now complete. If you search for an existing company or business name, you should see the full entity history in the database. While data has been migrated, images of past filings will be migrated in the next few weeks.

Date for associations, business groups and foreign investment registrations will be completed soon, please watch for an update on this site.
Account information. If you have an existing online account, that information has been migrated into the new system.
Online filing. The new system allows for every single filing to be submitted online. For this reason, paper filings will no longer be accepted except for the initial application to incorporate a company, register a business name, or file a notice of intent for association.
Online payments. Online filing fees are paid from your client account. See information below about how to establish a free client account. You may fund the account in various ways, including using a new feature, BSP Online. You may also use credit card or via cash or cheque at BSP.
Re-registration. New legislation just passed in 2022 requires all companies and overseas companies to re-register in this new online system. Re-registration is free and takes the place of the annual return due in the year you re-register. When you re-register you will be able to update all your company details for free, but failure to re-register will result in your company being struck off the register. Now that data migration for companies is complete, the re-registration will be much easier to complete. For more information see the Help section below about re-registration.
Expired Business Names. Many Business names have expired but they continue to show as “Not Yet Updated”. The business owners are given a grace period to renew their business names by 31 July 2023 otherwise they will be struck off by 1 August 2023. The business names that have been struck off can be restored to the register. When you start the restoration process you will be presented with the historical information and you may simply update anything that is now out of date. However, you must still complete the past due business names renewals and pay the appropriate late penalty fees.
