Code 254 - The proposed agri-industry project will be located within the Sogeam Timber Rights Permits (TRP) area of Tangelo in Madang Province. Sogeam TRP consist 56,000 hectares and comprises one of the last remaining rich natural forests - part of which (about 30%) has been logged while another 70% still remains intact. The company is seeking potential developer who can developed into a specific agri-industry such as rice, Soya beans, cattle farming or etc., depending on any specific interest from any potential investor. |

Code: 410 - There are many run down coffee plantation scattered throughout the Waghi Valley in the Western Highlands Province. The areas are effectively under coffee range from 10 hectares to well over 500 hectares. The coffee plantations have not been managed in a prudent and sustainable manner in order to maintain production whilst continuing to generate revenue to sustain the coffee plantations. This has led to the run down of highly productive plantations and this proposal is to solicit funding whereby the financial will partner with owners to rehabilitate their plantations based on mutually agreed terms and conditions. This is based on the fact that owners are unable to source the required funding from any financial insitution on the country to support rehabilitation. The rehabilitation program will also arrange to establish central processing facilities for the coffee produced from the plantations. The financier will own majority share of the processing facility to produce up to marketable green bean whereby expenditure incurred for rehabilitation of coffee will be covered from the export of green bean to establish overseas. |

Code: 345 - The project is mainly for Planting Coffee, setting up both wet and green bean coffee factories and to have exporting license for overseas export. All activities will be carried out jointly with the foreign investor in accordance with a Joint Venture Partnership Agreement. Land surveyed and registered under proponent or local partner's name with an area of 89/3 hectares for 99 years agricultural lease. Strategies are in all places following the successful operation of the company in a small way. The local partner has already initiated coffee projects under the above company. The company is seeking a joint venture partner to assist them with the coffee project. |
